Flowers came into her life after she made a documentary for the BBC in 2007 which explored the tradition of the cut flower industry in Britain. The programme highlighted its decline and the hope of a revival by raising awareness and an appreciation of seasonality in flowers, just as was happening with food and the locally grown, seasonal British food movement. Her film also highlighted the need for a new breed of growers and florists. Juliet took up the baton, swapped her camera for a trowel and set out on a new creative path - to grow a flower farm and floristry business with her husband Neil.
Seasonality and sustainability have always been at the core of her business.
Over the last 12 years Juliet has developed expert knowledge in both growing seasonal British flowers and designing with them and in turn sharing that expertise and creativity with clients who wish to embrace a greener, more sustainable approach for their weddings, events and campaigns.
